Hydrasun is pleased to announce that they have transitioned to the new ISO45001:2018 international standard for occupational health and safety (OH&S), becoming one of the first companies within the oil and gas industry, to transition with Lloyds Register (LR), from the exiting OHSAS 18001 standard.

ISO45001 brings clear benefits to the Hydrasun organisation in a number of areas most particularly through supporting improved business performance through providing a clearer framework on risk and opportunity identification within the organisation whilst at the same time driving continuous improvement in overall occupational Health and Safety performance.  In addition, the company’s HSEQ standards are internationally recognised, further demonstrating its commitment to excellence within its customer base.

Ron Crooks, Managing Assessor at Lloyds Register commented “Hydrasun has successfully migrated to ISO45001 which proves their continuous focus on health and safety performance. The involvement of their leadership team during the migration process demonstrates their intention to establish a growing health and safety culture within the organisation”.

This transition also completes Hydrasun’s suite of transitions to the latest HSE & Quality ISO standards in ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and now ISO45001:2018.

Further to the above, Hydrasun is also pleased to report that it is now reached a further milestone in its Health and Safety Performance with over 4 years having passed and 5 million man-hours completed since their last recordable H&S incident.

Bob Drummond, CEO of Hydrasun Ltd commented “We are very proud of these continued achievements and I personally would like to thank all the employees involved for their continued commitment, dedication and focus on this critical area.  HSE issues continue to be a major challenge within the industries we work in and as we broaden our service & solution capabilities, these successes recognise the continued efforts of Hydrasun to set the standard within our specialist service areas whilst providing us with a clear competitive differentiator within the marketplace.”
