Kitting is a way to supply multiple parts in an efficient manner. Multiple parts are grouped and supplied as a single kit. This consolidating reduces the administrative effort of ordering multiple parts, reduces the operational effort of receiving, storing and issuing multiple parts, and simplifies the resultant documentation processes associated with the provision of a single kit documentation package.
